We are one of the biggest collective management organisations for neighbouring rights in Europe. Please read on to find out more about our activity as representatives of our rights holders.
The most important task of the Associates’ and Delegates’ Assembly on behalf of the right holders is the annual determination of the distribution regulations for the distribution of the remuneration collected by GVL, as well as the specification of the grant guidelines.
Above and beyond this, the Assembly casts a discerning eye and provides sustained support to the ongoing work of GVL in all relevant areas. The Associates’ and Delegates’ Assembly advises the general management, provides its view on fundamental questions of legislation, financial income development as well as the general business accounts; it also submits recommendations.
At least once a year the Associates’ and Delegates’ Assembly comes together and resolves important framework conditions in the name of all GVL right holders, including, for example, the administration conditions and tariffs for users.
